Construction Design and Management Regulations 2015 - Principal Designer

Undertaking constructions works - Are you aware of your duties and responsibilities?

The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM Regulations 2015) ensure that health and safety issues are properly considered and managed from a projects inception, so that the risk of harm to those who build, maintain and eventually demolish the development is reduced.

The Regulations were introduced in 1994 following publication of European Directive 92/57/EEC on minimum safety and health standards for temporary or mobile construction sites. The CDM Regulations were revised in 2007, and again on 6 April 2015.

At Inform Surveying we are competent in undertaking the role of Principal Designer under the Regulations and can also act as a client advisor to ensure the correct people are appointed, ensuring the client duties are discharged and the works undertaken on site are safely managed.
