Regulation and professional standards
Inform Surveying Limited is regulated by RICS under firm registration number 760144. We work to the RICS Rules of Conduct and to the professional standards and guidance that apply to the services we provide.
We maintain professional indemnity insurance in accordance with the RICS requirements for regulated firms. Details of our cover are available to clients and prospective clients on request.

The scope of both certificates is the provision of building surveyors and project managers, surveying commercial, retail and domestic properties, to include project management and design coordination services.
If you wish to complain
We take every complaint seriously and deal with it promptly, fairly and courteously. As a RICS regulated firm we operate a formal complaints handling procedure that meets the RICS requirements.
In the first instance, please speak to Gavin Sampson BSc (Hons) MRICS, Director, on 0114 321 9919. If you would prefer to write, or if your complaint was first made by telephone, please send a written summary of the complaint to [email protected]. All complaints must be received in writing before they can be formally considered.
We will write to you within seven days of receiving your complaint, setting out our understanding of the circumstances and inviting any further comments you wish to make. Within twenty-one days of receiving your final written summary we will write to you again with the outcome of our investigation and the action we have taken or propose to take.
If you remain dissatisfied, you may refer the matter to an independent redress provider approved by the RICS Regulatory Board. Where your concern is about our professional conduct, contact RICS in the first instance. Where it concerns our professional advice, the matter may be referred to the RICS Dispute Resolution Service.
