Regional surveying firm Inform Surveying has appointed Ben Hudson, who joins its senior team as an Associate Director.
Formerly at CBRE, Hudson has over six years of post-qualification experience acting for local, national, and international clients. Recent projects include warehouse refurbishment sub-division to meet the change in occupation, planned preventative maintenance surveys on large multi-complex shopping centres and more interestingly pre-occupation surveys for the Project Nightingale Hospitals at the beginning of the first Covid-19 lockdown.
With a wealth of experience acting as Principal Designer on multi-million-pound commercial schemes across the UK, his expertise will bolster experienced Inform Directors Gavin, Steve, and Martin.
Gavin Sampson, the founding partner, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Ben to our team.
“We’re experiencing an unprecedented demand for our services across the board, and Ben’s skills, experience and outlook will be invaluable.”
An APC supervisor and NEBOSH qualified, Hudson will be responsible for managing key projects and building consultancy advice for Inform’s clients.
Director Steve Taylor, said, “I am confident that Ben’s specialist knowledge and his background working across a wide range of sectors will play a key role in our future growth.”
In common with Steve and Gavin, Ben is a passionate cyclist, mostly downhill or on rough terrain. After a hard day’s work, he kicks back with the odd jar of IPA and a bowl of Thai.
Hudson said: “The opportunity to join Inform was too good to miss.
“As a business, Inform Surveying is committed to delivering the first-rate service to its clients and empowering its team. I’m totally on board with being part of that. Helping to grow an independent business is totally rewarding.”
