The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM Regulations 2015) ensure that health and safety issues are properly considered and managed from a project's inception, so that the risk of harm to those who build, maintain and eventually demolish the development is reduced.
The Regulations were introduced in 1994 following publication of European Directive 92/57/EEC on minimum safety and health standards for temporary or mobile construction sites. The CDM Regulations were revised in 2007, and again on 6 April 2015.
At Inform Surveying we are competent in undertaking the role of Principal Designer under the Regulations and can also act as a client advisor to ensure the correct people are appointed, ensuring the client duties are discharged and the works undertaken on site are safely managed.
