What is the difference between a contract administrator and an employer’s agent?

The roles of a Contract Administrator (CA) and Employer’s Agent (EA) are similar.

Usually, a Contract Administrator’s role sits within a traditional form of contract, whereas an Employer’s Agent is primarily associated with Design and Build Contracts.

The Employer’s Agent is the link between the employer and the contractor, as their representative, independently managing everything that goes into the delivery of the contract.
