Inform’s Steven Taylor has been shortlisted in the Mentor of the Year category for this year’s RICS Matrics Young Surveyor of the Year Awards.

Over 125 years ago, RICS Matrics (formerly the RICS Junior Organisation) was created to provide a support network for its members, enabling them to grow and influence the wider surveying profession.

Steven, who chartered in 2003 and chairs an RICS APC assessment panel, said, “I love what I do and am very honoured to be recognised by RICS Matrics for my contribution.”

“From working with trainees when they start their first day to helping others navigate their way through APC assessments is something I’m immensely proud of. I’m lucky to play a small role in their journey,” he added.

Formed in 2015, Inform has a strong track record in employing graduate trainees and is committed to supporting the next generation of surveyors to flourish.

Founding Director Gavin Sampson said: “We’ve worked hard to develop our business over the last seven years, and our investment in the younger generation has paid huge dividends. This nomination is a credit to Steven and our team.”

This year the award ceremony is being held at The Royal Lancaster, in London, on 4 November. Whatever happens on the night, we think Steven is a winner. We couldn’t be prouder of his achievement.
